About Joyous Brass
Joyous Brass is a British-style brass band founded by Mike Welling in the spring of 2001 to create a unique musical fellowship for Christian brass musicians. Comprised entirely of volunteers, each member generously shares their time and talent in service of the band’s ministry. Musicians hail from various churches throughout the Sacramento area, united by a shared passion for music and faith. The band is led by Music Director Daniel Prince, whose leadership brings energy and excellence to every performance.

Our Mission
Joyous Brass exists to serve as an emissary of Jesus Christ through the performance of spiritually inspired music.  Our prayer is that every listener experiences the message of God’s love and grace through the music we share.
